Fantastic Second Month for Solent Bird Studies

Two months on and records are flying in faster than ever! This is all thanks to our brilliant volunteers!

We now have over 100 birders using the app who have submitted over 2,600 Solent bird records. This means we have already reached 26% of our overall target of 10,000 records by the end of the season.

So far 50 different species have been captured, including Cormorant, Curlew, Redshank, Teal and Turnstones.

Other fantastic news: BBC Radio Solent interviewed our very own Ed Rowsell and praised the project and the impact it will have on shaping the future Solent environment.

Please keep up the excellent work everybody and continue to spread the word on this project!

Happy birding!
